Armin van Buuren 
was fascinated by music from an early age. It has been said that this is due to the fact that his father listened to various musical genres. Besides music, Armin became interested in computing tecnologíay. At fourteen he bought his first sampler, borrowed his father's synthesizer and started to produce music. During adolescence, Armin went to school on his bike and took advantage of these trips to listen to music through headphones. Armin's passion for creating mixes short time grew and began working as a DJ at a nightclub in Leiden called Nexus. In 1995 he graduated from school and enrolled in college to study law.
